Gary's Seafood comes highly recommended! We bought oysters and shrimp from the shop. The oysters were amazing! My husband grilled them in the shell and added butter. Even my young daughters loved the oysters! Shrimp do need to be deveined if that is your preference.
Feels like the real deal. Authentic little hole in the wall place with fresh sea food. I got a pint of fresh oysters and brought them home for my dad in Pennsylvania to make oyster soup for him! He loved it!
The wife and I dealt with Gary's years ago, through most of the 90's and the early 2000's. As the times changed, they took us away from Chincoteague but now, in 2026 we've retired and moved back to the area and are looking forward to the same great selection and service we were always used to!
