Probably the best family restaurant in Chincoteague. Sitting outside with the music is nice. Watch out for the seagulls

The view is good but everything else is not. It took more than 45mins just for the appetizer to come out, I asked for a menu again bc I didn’t like the food that I got (jerk chicken- not really jerk chicken, they just put pineapple salsa on top on a pan fried chicken breast) but the waiter never came back with it and just gave us a check. Their tortillas on the tacos are not good, food was not even warm.

Great waterfront views and relaxing beach vibe restaurant in Chincoteague. Bara bing shrimp and crab cakes were good. Love the crushes and specialty drinks. Love the sand and outdoor seating -be aware of the birds trying to eat your food. Nice play area for kids. Entertainment most nights as well. During the summer, expect to wait.

Very overpriced I’ve came here every year since it’s been opened and it’s just like decreased in food taste service. I mean the Seating is nice. You have a seat either near the Water feet in the sand so gives you a good nice beach vibe but everything else is pretty bad service. You probably only get two refills very overpriced food. Nothing is great about their food. If you wanna fly a seagull for your food, I’d give it five stars, but I’d rather not. I’d rather eat my food in peace.

Okay honestly we've been coming a Rope walk ever since it opened in every single year we came back is decreased in its food tastes and atmosphere the first time we ever went there is music playing in the background now it's seagulls attacking people's food and the atmosphere has declined the food has declined in the service has declined you barely got any refills the food is very overpriced

Table server was un attentive so I tried to get a 2nd drink at the bar but was overlooked on both ends while holding a a credit card in hand. Lobster was overcooked and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be cracked open because it was impenetrable, even after asking for better crackers twice. Some parts of the dinner were ok but not worth $150 for two people. I feel like if the server was more attentive we could have overlooked the food issues. They ran out of all light and NA beers but the crush drinks were good.

Our lunch experience here was great! The atmosphere was a tropical beach feel. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area right on the bay, with brightly covered tables and umbrellas and sand under my feet! I got the jerk chicken which was fresh and delicious, my son had the flounder roulade and my husband the chicken Caesar salad, and they said both were very good!

First time visiting. It’s peak season and we understood that it would be busy. However we did not expect to wait over an hour for our food when we were seated immediately. Food was not anything special but it wasn’t horrible.

Paid the bill by card and then tipped the server with cash. Restaurant proceeded to charge my card an extra $40 for a tip I never consented too. Manager has dodged all my calls and ignored my emails. DO NOT trust this company with your credit/debit card information. Also the food kinda sucks

We visited on a Sunday evening around 7:00 p.m., and while the initial wait to be seated wasn’t too bad, the rest of the experience was incredibly frustrating.
We were seated around 7:20 and ordered right away. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, and our appetizer came out after about 15 minutes. The biggest issue was the wait for our entrees, they didn’t arrive until around 8:30 p.m. After we finished eating, we waited another 40 minutes before our server finally came back to check on us and bring the bill. It got so bad that we actually stood up from our table hoping someone would notice and help us.
Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. After we finally received the check and handed over our cards to pay, we waited another 25 minutes before the server came back to process the payment and return them. From start to finish, we were there for about two hours, and most of that time was spent waiting. The entire experience was long and miserable.
ALSO… there was a photographer walking around offering to take photos, for an extra charge. At a restaurant??? What is this, an amusement park? 😂 Just something to be aware of before you go.
The food itself was just okay, nothing memorable, and the portions were surprisingly small for the price.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. Be prepared for extremely slow service, small portions, and a dining experience that drags on far longer than it should.

My husband & I stopped in Friday July 3rd, it was 100 plus degrees out, the only seating available was outside. Our waitress was Abby and I can honestly say out of all of the times we have been there, she was the most friendly waitress we have ever had. Again, it was over 100 degrees outside and she was smiling ,happy, friendly and seemed to really love her job. Abby you were amazing and deserve a raise. I would love to be able to request you every time we come. Stay Kind ♡

Never again. Second chance fell very short. Was not busy but we waited nearly two hours for our food. 3 salads and one pound of steamed shrimp does not require that amount of time. We were not the only dissatisfied table. Get it together!

Food was delayed an extended period of time, came out missing an item ordered, had to wait for that which then came out twice, seafood boils were inedible way overcooked so they had to be sent back to be remade (which we never got because we complained and left) ordered a piece of cake for a birthday after waiting 45 minutes for the piece of cake we decided to stop trying and asked for our check. They did take off the meals we couldn’t eat and the food we didn’t get but for such a beautiful place on the water I had much higher expectations for service, food and the overall management of the place. For having 3 managers on staff I was high disappointed with the overall experience and service of the restaurant.
