“Best Pizza in Staunton. If you go to the restaurant the service is great, and it has a full menu for your Italian urges. The effort goes into the food not the building, so it is not what I would call fancy, but it is clean and comfortable. They will deliver whatever is on the menu, and I have often ordered 12-15 large pizzas with no issues“

“Big fan of this local spot! Pizza is excellent! Cheesy bread is a fav! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Cool vibes, great ambience! Love when they have local musicians entertaining the crowd! Owner is usually walking around and checking on guests. They regularly support local non-profits! Good people, good place!“

“I never bother to leave reviews, if I like the place I like it, I’d I don’t I don’t. The bite(s) I had of my girlfriend’s penne alla vodka was immaculate; quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. My pizza steak wasn’t as packed with meats as I would’ve preferred but the flavor was simply incredible.“

“Food-The sub was the bomb! No gristle, gristly (did I spell that right?) pieces!! I asked for the cheese steak hoagie without the cheese, add lettuce, tomato and light mayo. That was delicious!!Service- the lady that answered the phone was awesome! Kind & courtesy!Atmosphere- needs a major overhaul! Meaning it was decorated by the original owner in 199something....“
“First time eating there yesterday, the lady who I spoke with over the phone was extremely nice and when she said the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes it was literally ready in 15 minutes. The overall experience from a customer service standpoint and the quality of food was excellent. I’m not much on writing reviews but I felt it was warranted in this situation.“

“We enjoyed the appetizers and entrees we got. It was a nice setup and great atmosphere. Service was a little slow (we thought understaffed) but all of the servers were friendly working hard. We will return again!Parking: Parked on a side street.“

“Two customers in the place. Quiet night. I've been hitting every pizza joint in Augusta county for a month while visiting from out of state. In search for a classic NY style STROMBOLI. Historic fact: they always made it using pizza dough. Not any more. They use a dough much like HOT POCKET. Preformed. Tasteless or more like pretzel dough. Not authentic. Small. Flat. The industry seems to have accepted this as the new way of telling us what we will eat. Like it or not. For over a month I've tried seven pizza parlors offering Calzone or Stromboli. One came close but was shaped in such a way it reminded me of a lab sample. No art. No skill. Not much on taste. For over a month I've ignored VPT because of the location: Churchville. And because my older brother told me they had what I was looking for. Don't repeat my error. GO! I confess my errors. Now just go and nail the real deal. Ask for the Veggie Stromboli, and add your favorite meats. I did sausage, ham, and pepperonI. The large is about 18 inches long. Bring an appetite and go solo. The best part of going solo is there is no sharing. Believe me. You won't want to share. The crust is pizza dough. Yummy. Tasty. And holds up to keeping the Stromboli in one massive piece. Excellent balance of veggies to meat. Marinara sauce included. Just enough cheese to think you've died and gone to heaven. PerfectLy cooked veggies. Tell them not to brown the top. Leave it simple. I have to say that Churchville has a diamond just waiting for you to try. The customer service was down home simple friendly hospitality. I'm back home in Washington state. But my heart (and stomach) remains at Village Pizza Too.“
