This is normally a good place. Today they missed the mark. Fryer must not have up to temp when they cooked my food. The normally crispy batter was soft and greasy. Hushpuppies were actually flat on the bottom meaning they sank to the bottom of the fryer in the cool oil. Food looked great, just a little mishap. It happens.

From the quality to the cleanliness, everything was perfect. The fish was hot and crispy, the hush puppies were steaming hot, and of course the Cole slaw always hits the spot. The friendly service and short wait time was impressive.

It was good when we stopped in. Everyone was nice. I have been at better ones. I have also been to waaay worse ones. This one particular is only second to the Gate City location in my opinion only of course.
