I doubt we’ll go back to Colonial Heights Applebees. I’ve never seen an Applebees as run down as this place is. Walls, window sills, carpet… all filthy. Glad we didn’t invite anyone to join us!
Was the worst experience we have had at an Applebee's. OlMy ceasar salad had 3 of the lettuce stalks chopped up in it and the lettuce was old briewn were cut and wilty and I would be embarrassed to serve that to a customer..I left the stalks sitting on the table for the server to see them and she did nothing. Rest of food was just OK. For a chain restaurant, I would expect a bit more quality control and consistency of food.
Been here 4 times and had good service 2X. Reason - understaffing. They do boogie or schedule enough servers. We left one of the two understaffed times - secontime we were here before it became acute.
