Huge thanks to Crozet Creamery today! Walked all the way there, got a huge one-scoop of peach mango sorbet (yum!!) on a cake cone, went outside to enjoy it, and on the fourth lick the whole scoop fell off the cone and into the ground. Bummer! Picked the scoop (still almost intact but a little smushed from the fall), put it back in the cone and went inside to beg for another. No problem — they replaced the whole cone with a smile. Love this neighborhood ice cream shop so much...
I am a big fan of a salted caramel milkshake, and will get one any time they're available. The salted caramel milkshake i got from Crozet Creamery last night was BY FAR the best milkshake I've ever had. Absolutely the best, most intense caramel flavor I've ever tasted in a milkshake. My husband got a milkshake with both pumpkin spice & Irish cream ice creams & that also was EXTREMELY GOOD. I will definitely be back. 11/10 stars.
So the ice cream is so good here. The only thing that makes it difficult to come here (especially as someone with severe social anxiety) is the workers. Every time I come in I just don’t feel welcomed. I kind of in a way feel like a bother like I feel like they are thinking “ugh, another customer”. Again I love the ice cream, but I feel like the workers need to be just as sweet as the ice cream. I want to walk in and feel welcomed, I want to walk in and feel happy because...
