“This was a cozy, friendly, & delicious spot for our family. We had tried a few places before popping into this lovely place and none of the other restaurants could safely accommodate our food allergies. This restaurant made us feel welcome, safe, well taken care of, and gave us a tasty meal and kind service-all in a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be returning! “One of my favorite, if not the absolute best, places in Culpepper!! The chef is Italian and cooks everything from scratch. Not a microwave in the joint. We couldn't believe how good the food was. We come here every time we pass through on the way to Lake Anna. The cocktails are also on point, with a prohibition flare. There is great history here too! Ask for Sam, she's either bartending or serving tables. You won't regret it!“

“I would give it two stars. I ordered the hamburger medium rare and it came very well done. I asked if I could have the house salad without the blue cheese and I was told I could, but it came with blue cheese. No waiter ever came back to our table to ask if everything was all right. I had to flag down a waiter to return the salad with the bled cheese. A waiter did show up after we finished eating to refill our water glasses and to inquire whether we wanted to order dessert.“
