“Don't go on a Friday night... I think $84 was a lot for 3 pasta dishes, garlic bread (soggy), two soups and a cannoli! Food was not at all hot.... almost cold and we are 15 minutes away. No takeout menus and no prices that you could read in the restaurant. Not impressed.“

Now, almost 20 years later, Thai food is my favorite cuisine and I’ve been to Thailand over 11 times, all starting off my love with this place. “A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

Nathan's Ice cream 🍦 tastes like the old school Ice cream made on the diary farm, always fresh and doesn't bring an after-taste in the mouth. “My husband and I love Lil' Bowl. Tonight I decided to surprise my husband with a bento bowl which he has never had. They were so good. There was so much food, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Yum! I had the Pad Thai...very good. My husband had the chicken fried rice, and we both really enjoyed our Bento Boxes. We also really enjoyed the mango sticky rice for our dessert. If you like Thai and Japanese cuisine, you have to try Lil' Bowl. We highly recommend it.“

“My brother and I tried La China Poblana Taqueria for the first time today. Having grown up in San Diego, we have been searching for an authentic, family restaurant experience for a long while since moving up the DC area. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Service was spot on. Food was on point. We can't recommend this place enough. The birria tacos and quesadilla were fantastic. My brother also tried their lingua and loved it. Also, their fresh guacamole... I haven't had guacamole this good since I left California 23 years ago.“

“It’s a very small space, so I recommend going during non-peak dining hours if possible.

One thing I appreciated was that they offer a halal section, which was a nice bonus.

That said, the topping labels were inaccurate or unclear, making it difficult to tell what everything was. For first-time visitors, the ordering process can be confusing, and I think clearer instructions or signage would help. On a busy day, there were quite a few customers wandering around trying to figure out the process, which added to the overall chaos.

Overall we will go again because my kids enjoyed it.“

“This is my family's go to pho spot now! This was our 3rd time and we know it won't be the last.

We used to go to the Centreville location, but now live closer to this location. It has the same great broth and delicious sides, and is the most reasonably priced pho place around without cutting back on quality.

I always get the bun chay and ate every bit today - I meant to take a picture for the review, but it was too delicious! They do a discount if you pay with cash, so that was a nice surprise!

“I've eaten here before maybe 5 plus years ago. The food was pretty decent , I had the udon and it was pretty decent but could have used a little bit more flavor. My wife ordered the beef teppanyaki and she enjoyed it. My son ordered the tempura meal , he thought it was decent but it too could have used a little bit more flavor. “My mom and I had found this place by accident, but it was the best find. I like to call it a hidden gem, it’s not real noticeable as it sits in a plaza, but the restaurant is so cute and quaint, the food is fresh and the quality is top notch; the service is second to none; you really can’t ask for anything better. This place is everything that you are looking for and more.

I most recently had their honey shrimp with the spicy level, and my gosh it was so good. I’m talking about eyes rolling in the back of your head good. I literally have had nothing like it, and nobody can do it better than this place. You will literally never go wrong in choosing to eat here and support their business. “We ordered a cake for my daughter’s graduation and it was amazing and delicious. We ordered a butter cake with cannoli cream filling. All we did was give the name of the high school and gave the decorator freedom to design. They designed an awesome cake using the school colors, even including the school crest. It was a showcase piece of the party.“
