I’m a big customer service person and the way the lady taking the orders de-escalated a customer situation left me in awe. The food left me even more impressed. “Gracious staff welcomed us in. The restraunt was very clean and the decor is beautiful. There are so many vegan options on the menu, it's hard to decide what to try first. We ordered the brown rice garden rolls, pad thai and congee. Everything was delicious. We plan to be frequent customers, and maybe eventually we'll be able to try everything on the menu.“

“Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“I went here for my birthday for the first time. I ordered the unagi don that was very delicious honestly 10/10. My family told our waitress it was my birthday and they gave me this adorable balloon rose, along with 2 slices of cake( one small cheesecake slice with yuzu, and a chocolate chestnut cake).

The cheesecake was lovely and I’m sure the chocolate one was too but I refrained since I’m allergic to tree nuts. The presentation of the dishes looked elegant and the food came out at a good time. Even if it took more time I wouldn’t mind since all the food was delicious. We came in around 2 and it was somewhat empty which I appreciated. The staff was very kind and gave us a complimentary appetizer of sweet potato tempura.“

Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). “As my group of 10 walked in, there was already a line of 8 or so, but Jude and Z still made sure to welcome us in.

Once we all ordered, they were very accommodating to each of our needs like specific food choices and seating arrangements for our big group.

The wait was rather long, but that could easily be chalked up to the busyness, but once we got the food it was absolutely worth the wait.

As it was all of our first time there, there wasn’t a single person who had something bad to say.

The chicken tenders might be the best tenders I think I’ve ever had, the fries were well seasoned, and the honey garlic wings were still incredibly crispy was just as saucy.
