“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“This restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated, but a little on the small side. My server was attentive and friendly. The portions are generous and the prices are pretty fair. The food was very good! I had pad thai and the tamarind sauce was spot on. The chicken was a little dry, but I've had worse. We will return!“

“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. Everything was delicious, loved the decor, service was friendly and bathrooms were clean.“

“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“Had a coupon from inkind so tried this place out. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They have music playing but it isn’t too loud or overwhelming. Seating is nice because you can choose to sit at the lower (table height) counter or high top level counter. If you aren’t familiar with hot pot or unsure of the best combos, staff will prep your dipping sauce and broth and cook your noodles and other items to ensure it turns out amazing. I had sushi. Seaweed salad and miso soup were delicious. I gave a four for food because the wasabi is not very spicy. And while the sushi was tasty, it wasn’t the best I’ve had. It took a lot to get that subtle but powerful heat I expect from traditional wasabi. If you aren’t a fan of a touch of sinus clearing heat but love wasabi flavor, you’ll find this place is for you. Def worth the visit and will return to try the hot pot next!“

“We tried this place after reading some recommendations on Reddit. The food was quite good and they had a wide selection. I had the flying dragon and my wife really liked the mango tango roll. But the thing that initially had us was how clean the place was. The tempura was also very good because of how clean the oil was. The service was also excellent. It was so good that we came back the next weekend to try out some more dishes despite it being a 30 minute drive from our home. Definitely recommend and would probably be here every week if it wasn’t so far.“

“Had a great experience at Eggholic in Chantilly! We stopped by during our trip and tried the Dahi Puri and Bhel, and both were really delicious. The flavors were fresh, flavorful, and had just the right balance of sweet, tangy, and spicy. The Dahi Puri was especially enjoyable, and the Bhel was a perfect light snack.

Overall, a great spot for Indian street food. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the Chantilly area!“

It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“I judge most Peking Duck restaurants by their Peking Duck, and this was as good as you’ll find in the US! The skin was beautifully crispy, and the duck was delicious. The Scallion Bubble Bread was another standout, as were the pea shoots and eggplant dishes.

Unfortunately, the Wagyu Lo Mein and Seafood & Tofu Claypot were misses. The brown sauce-based dishes generally fell flat, lacking the depth and complexity of flavor I expected.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the parking free. Overall, a lovely dining experience with some exceptional dishes and a few misses. I’d absolutely return for the Peking Duck!“

“I had been seeing honeygrow everywhere and never really knew what it was, so yesterday, Saturday, I finally had the chance to stop in, and I’m so glad I did. Everything looked so fresh. The restaurant was clean, the kitchen and cooking area were immaculate, and even the beverage bar was spotless. The whole place felt pristine at this location. The employees were nice, and the customer service was very satisfactory. I ordered the kale chicken Caesar and added bacon. I also had them heat up the chicken and bacon. My plan was to take it home, but it looked so good that I opened the container in the car just to have a taste, and it never made it home. It was absolutely delicious. The Caesar dressing, the chicken, and everything together was just amazing.
Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back. 10/10 I highly recommend.“

Having grown up in San Diego, we have been searching for an authentic, family restaurant experience for a long while since moving up the DC area. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. Service was spot on. “My husband and I love Lil' Bowl. Tonight I decided to surprise my husband with a bento bowl which he has never had. They were so good. There was so much food, we had leftovers for tomorrow. Yum! I had the Pad Thai...very good. My husband had the chicken fried rice, and we both really enjoyed our Bento Boxes. We also really enjoyed the mango sticky rice for our dessert. If you like Thai and Japanese cuisine, you have to try Lil' Bowl. We highly recommend it.“
