“Visited Akmal’s kitchen with friends and family recently located in Springfield, the Desi Hub. It has by far the best tasting Pakistani food in Northern Virginia! Menu has great options for all kinds of food from appetisers, vegetarian options to specialty food! We ordered the chicken pakoras, chaat for appetisers and for main course, mix sizzling platter, goat korma, Nihari (fall off the bone beef), chicken biryani, butter chicken. The biryani was very fresh, very fragrant and the chicken fall-off-the-bone moist and tender--some of the best we've had. The butter chicken was excellent-the sauce wonderful to enjoy with the moist and flaky naan. They also have buffet every day, which I will try next time!
The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating! Everything has been consistently fresh, delicious, and filling. Generous portions as well. Will definitely be back here again n again!

I have eaten many South Asian cuisines, and none compares to this one. I can eat here all week and come back for the weekend. It's hard to decide on the best-tasting food here. The Rice Briyani is the best I've ever had anywhere. The lamb curry is so yummy! The chic peas are unbelievable delicious - melts in your mouth, we had to order extra to go after eating in! If you try the crab balls, you won't stop eating it. And the somosas - wow! Not to talk about the hot-fresh and fluffy naan! The menu is vast, and it doesn't matter what you order, it's finger-licking delicious. Plus the price is great, and the service wonderful! “My family have been eating for at Mughals for a very long time and their flavors have had ups and downs but ever since Ramadan we only order from Mughals specifically, I have no idea what happened but the owner changed the taste of Karahi and Butterchicken which now taste absolutely delicious. For the previous 5+ years have never doubted their Naan I seriously think it is the #1 Naan in the DMV area and even when we have venues from other restaurants they always have the Naan supplied by Mughal Oasis which I’ve noticed. Outstanding changes I highly recommend, only legitimate Zabiha Halal certified restaurant in the plaza I believe.“
