The 616 Farm To Table

On my work trip to Danville, I found this lovely restaurant through Yelp. Decided it looked interesting enough to give a try. Casual atmosphere is the first impression. There's a bar, large TV screen, and pleasant staff. I was sat immediately and got my usual - unsweetened iced tea. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this meal was worthy of a review. I ate at 616 Farm to Table in Danville, Va. The meal Buttermilk Fried Chicken, on top of a AuGratin Potato, Asparagus topped with thick hickory bacon, mushrooms, sharp cheddar cheese and homemade Honey Dijon. Absolutely Delicious!!!! The presentation was wonderful, very colorful and the different textures-creamy, stiff, airy, chewy and crunchy made the dish very interesting however it lacked the necessary flavors that comes with southern fried chicken. I was hoping to experience that buttermilk flavor throughout and additional spices could have made this dish a wonderful experience
