“The Golden Leaf Bistro is located in the Tobacco Warehouse District in downtown Danville, Virginia. It has two large dining rooms for large groups and booths for those wanting a more private setting. The atmosphere and decor is very nice with a sense of earlier decades on the river and train lines. The staff were welcoming, but not as attentive as we might have hoped. For lunch we had a decent Ruben and a very good Club Sandwich Wrap. As sides, we had outstanding tater tots. For those not from Virginia, there was a notable sales tax as well as a credit card upcharge adding an additional $5.54 to a $35 bill.“
