“Was a bit worried seeing how tight the restaurant was when we walked in, but Jolie hit it out of the park! From drinks to dessert everything was on point. Sitting at the bar we got to watch the food coming together and see every dish leaving the kitchen, which didn’t help us at all in narrowing down which dishes we wanted to try. Stephen was behind the bar and took care of us. We tried two cocktails that were thoughtful and unexpected. Both delicious! After talking to the chef, our top contenders were confirmed into selections. We ordered the smoked trout dip, steak tartare and the watercress vichyssoise from the menu, along with the two specials for the evening: an asparagus dish with Bearnaise and a poached egg and the rabbit fricassie. Every dish made us melt. The flavors were bold yet balanced and quite layered. Despite eating as much as we did, we didn’t feel heavy as you might expect after big a French meal. Which was great since we really wanted to try two desserts. After watching one of the cooks torching each creme brûlée with technique and precision that provided the perfectly crackable sugar crust, we had to try the cafe au lait creme brûlée and the strawberries and cream on a chiffon cake. Neither disappointed and left us blissfully full, rounding out a lovely meal and dining experience that truly hit the spot. Can’t wait to go back again!“

“Spent the day exploring downtown Cary and came across this little bistro! Outside dining was great! Amazing food and friendly service! Sophia, my waitress was fantastic! Very friendly and attentive! The cocktail “The Butterfly Effect “ is just as good as it is pretty! The baked Brie and arugula/beet salad was delicious! Great find in Cary for sure!“

“Honestly for a hotel restaurant my food was really good! I usually avoid eating in the hotel but tonight I was too tired to go out. So I grabbed a complimentary drink for the reception and ordered a fried chicken sandwich. Service was friendly and prompt. The sandwich arrived hot and honesty was one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had. It had really good flavor and was juicy with fresh lettuce. The fries were cooked perfect to fit my liking which is crispy but not destroyed. Sorry I should've taken a picture... Fyi the table next to me got salads which looked really good.If you want to stay close or order room service I think you'll be pleasantly surprised as I was. Ignore the 1 star reviews that don't really relate to the restaurant. They also had a manager waking around checking on customers which is always a good sign that they care.“
