“We came here from Pennsylvania, as a weekend getaway since we couldn’t take a big vacation this year. We came here for supper and karaoke. Carlos was our server and was SUPER nice and had a great sense of humor. Greg the DJ for karaoke was SO nice and hyped everyone up. They wanted us to come back. Everyone running the facility was SO nice and all the patrons were really nice as well. We really appreciate the service being outsiders and how kind everyone was. “On 7/18/25, in that I was in the area around dinner time, I decided to try out the Glory Days Restaurant in Stone Ridge, VA. I experienced an OUTSTANDING dinner eating at this restaurant!

The ambiance was quite nice, pretty much what I expected to see in a grill restaurant.

All of the food was fantastic. In that my server understood that it was my first time visiting the restaurant, she arranged to have me served their “rookie plates.” The first plate consisted of delicious pretzel bread, battered mozzarella cheese, and battered chicken bits. The second plate had a couple of chicken wings. Additionally, the plates had three of their special sauces.

I was incredibly impressed with my server/waitress, Samantha! She meticulously handled every aspect of my dining experience. I would be thrilled to have her work at my restaurant. (If I owned one, that is.)

“Amazing and fresh oysters! My sister and I sat at the bar and ordered a dozen oysters while we waited for our takeout order. Bartenders Jim and Brian were amazing, friendly, and great service!

From our takeout order, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, our favorite were the fried calamari and clam chowder soup. Definitely will be back.“

“Super late review, I know. I was there during January 20th, 2025 timeline. With many of our colleagues there, we hoped there would be a place to unwind and the staff at Black Olive didn't disappoint. I want to specifically thank Lisa and Zuri for their kindness, exceptional service, and great mixology skills. They went above and beyond for all of us to ensure we had a wonderful time at the pool tables, darts, cornball, and our drinks were made promptly and accurately. I certainly hope this review make it to them. They deserve all the praise and more.“

But be sure to please the audience, as they are not easy. Wide selection of food and alcohol to pair with. Keep the tab open, you'll be staying late.“

“Don't write many reviews but had to offset the one current negative review. This is not a full blown sports bar but serves one of the best burgers in the area and the wings are very good. Also have an excellent rotating selection of ~20 beers on tap. There is one big screen and several hanging TVs. Yes its the dining area at Whole Foods with a limited menu but the food/beer are worth a visit IMO.“

“It's the hotels casual fare. If your expectations are fine dining you'll be disappointed, but as far as a calm and relaxing bar with Virginia theming then you'll have a good time.

Food is generic but consistent (bar foods with occasionally new fare). Staff is attentive since it's usually calm.

The bartender is really good. My wife ordered a margarita which was really great.

The food was really good. I personally order Jambalaya was which delicious. I even added Ole’ Bay seasoning to add to more “kick” to the dish! But surprise dish was the bread pudding…it was DELICIOUS!

The staff members were really good. They promptly served my group and consistently checked on us to see if everything was satisfactory.

Overall, I recommend the place. If you want to get out to watch a game with a great drink and good food, then this is the place!“

“It’s a great place for older teen birthday parties and adult work bonding experiences. There’s enough games to make the children feel like children and games for adults to have fun like teenagers. There is also a bar area for adults. Expect it to be loud. So, decide if that’s your scene.“
