Aroma Restaurant Bar & Banquet

Definitely do not recommend if you order take out. Got it through Grubhub and at over 20 dollars an entree, I expected far more than 7 or so pieces of chicken for the chicken tikka and expected more than a small Chinese takeout sized container of chicken biryani. One piece of naan bread was provided for the 10 dollar cost we paid. I feel ripped off and the cherry on top was they didn’t even give us the correct naan we wanted. Will absolutely not be ordering again.

Terrible in every way possible

Very disappointed. Poor ambience, Service got slow after appetizers, got one entree wrong and missed one entree entirely. The olive basil naan and Bindhi sabzi were quite tasty. Giving a total of 3 stars because they gave us the missing entree to take home and didn’t charge for it.

Went to the bar launch / sponsored happy hour tonight .. place looks great .. service was great .. didn’t eat the food with the exception of the happy hour appetizers that they were serving but what I saw on other plates and from the menu I can’t wait to come back for dinner. Can’t wait till they get all the tvs installed as this place will look like a fusion Indian restaurant with good bar atmosphere .. happy hour prices are spectacular .. where can you get a draft for $3 bucks anymore …. Great job Johnny and ownership at making this a spot

They updated the restaurant completely so it has more of a modern feel. We had dinner there which was great.. the basics which was butter chicken, garlic naan and palak chaat. It was very good! The chicken was juicy in the sauce

Very disappointed with the Goat Biryani. (I don’t see that as Biryani). Chef’s action seems like customer satisfaction is not their cup of tea.

We ordered Goat Biryani, Laccha paratha, Kebab platter. Definitely not for biryani lovers. Though expressed our disappointment, no one from the kitchen cared to respond. Paid for the food but left without having it?.

My friend and I went to Aroma for lunch. For some reason, we were the only ones there. I don't know why, really, cause it's a great place. Maybe because it's in a hard to find location, actually in the back part of East Market Shopping Center. But don't let this dissuade you. My friend had the Malai Kofta, and I had the vegetable Vindaloo. Both were delicious to say the least. Our server was really nice and attentive. The atmosphere was open, bright, and pleasantly decorated. The prices were quite good, and the portions generous. The only things missing were the usual drinks you would to find in an Indian restaurant: chai, masala chai, and mango lassi. But, despite this, I will be going back!

Vegetarian options: There's a special vegetable section on the menu. Also several meals on the general part of the menu had vegetarian options, eg, my Vindaloo.

Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and gluten free options. Also, characteristically, no pork.

Parking: Easy parking lot next to the restaurant.
