In Rio Grande Valley border towns, this South Texas chain is famous for its breakfast tacos with homemade tortillas. For maximum effect, go first thing in the morning when everything is fresh, order at the counter, and ask for your tacos con frijoles, papas (potato), y huevos (3 egg options were w/ chorizo, sausage and “a la Mexicana”). I thought the food was delicious and the service was great, the woman who helped me was kind and patient. I’m writing the review to let Laredo know that you may need new tortillas! Food is good and why I return. Service is why I am writing review and not happy. I was craving a bean and cheese breakfast taco around noon and thought this was something they could accommodate even though it was not breakfast hour. However, they refused to make them because it was a breakfast taco even though they had flour tortillas, bean, and cheese. I would like them to consider in the future accommodating a request that is easy and possible. Otherwise, food is tasty and delicious.
