“Called in my order for lunch and I got extra dish for dinner! I got chili with cheese and order of fries with cheese sauce for a mega lunch with left overs for another meal. They also had individual Chicken Pot Pies (seasonal) in a cute decorated box with a top crust cut out like a Christmas tree - so cute! And the soft gingerbread cookies (also seasonal) - wonderfully delicious! Local people making delicious comfort food for their community!”

“Pantoufle is a must for anyone who loves good food.
We were two Brits on a tour from New Orleans to New York, arriving in Floyd on a Saturday.  After sampling mainly burgers, grits and gumbo for 11 days, we wanted to taste something different. We called in to Pantoufle on a whim and got a warm welcome. The French twist on familiar foods was tempting; we both enjoy visiting France so tried our luck. Happily, we were accommodated in the fully booked restaurant as soon as we arrived. How lucky we were!
My wife started with the leek and potato soup, then had the braised short rib ( as close to the french Boeuf Bourgignon as she can remember) with mashed potatoes. I started with bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar; you can tell a lot about a restaurant by the standard of bread and it was obviously home made. I progressed onto a white bean and slow-cooked shoulder of pork dish topped with fennel. It was excellent.
The wine was very reasonably priced, compared with all our other nights in the US, and delicious (we went with the recommendation of the owner, Grayson). It was a taste of France in Floyd.
Were I to return I would ask Grayson what he would recommend and not even look at the menu, such was my confidence in his knowledge, chef and desire to please.
We went on our way with delicious chocolates from his adjacent shop.

“This was our second visit in just 2 weeks. It was a mirror image of our earlier visit. The people are very gracious and the servers polite. There was excellent variety in the food choices. The food was fantastic and the value was amazing. Will go back soon!!”

“Just by chance myself and my girlfriend were riding the Blue Ridge Parkway and was looking for someplace to eat and I just took off onto Rt 8 and she pulled up The Parkway Grille. Let me say that the little young one that took us to our seat was so attentive and amazed me of how young she was and sharp as a tack!!! Big compliments to the Chefs and the kitchen and the servers! The sandwiches that we both had were Hot served and were amazingly delicious!!! We were from Lynchburg and never had ever been in that quaint Little gem of a town of Floyd! We fell in Love with it and the Parkway Grille! We will be back! We both gladly will give y'all a 5 Star rating!❤️☮️⚜️”

“they have too many hidden fees such as ketchup, 50 cent marinara sauce to go with your flatbread is $0.50 ,..that that don't put it on the menu.. do not get the pull chicken Sandwich it is too soggy too wet for the bun bad for business. it's not a good look for you guys”
