“Every time I go past, I try to stop and get something from here as I live an hour away. Today, I went in, looked at the salads, sandwiches, and cookies. I stood at the counter waiting to order. There were 2 ladies talking to 1 customer. They didn't acknowledge me at all. Two people came out of the back at different times and they didn't either. No hello or I'll be with you soon. Totally ignored, I walked out. Their cheesecakes and other pastries are delicious.“

I really really liked this place. Met some relatives here. This place has a wall full of awards as best place for MULTIPLE years running. It's sports bar-ish inside but way nicer. Has a neighborhood pub feel to it. If I lived anywhere close this place would be in regular rotation.

I got the pork schnitzel. Came with this incredible warm German potato salad which is one of my fave sides I've ever had. Sauerkraut was good. Schnitzel was perfect. Wish it had been larger but that's probably a personal problem. Also had a root beer on draft!

My dining partners had bratwurst platter and a burger. They all agreed it was excellent. They have a pretty extensive beer and cider list but it's one of those online deals and I just didn't have my phone but my relative was quite impressed.

We consider dessert but didn't get it but it was funnel cake, german chocolate cake and a cheesecake.“

“January 31, 2026 - When traveling and you’re looking for good pizza . . . stop and try “ Mellow Mushroom’s” pizza! 🍕

Our first time stop ( Lynchburg, VA) at one of the 160 locations of Mellow Mushroom . . . 🍄 This organization started in Atlanta , GA back in 1974! Over 50 years later, expanded in 17 states east of the Mississippi River!

Wasn’t crowded, the decor caught my eye! Maybe folks know of “ the healing properties” of magic mushrooms? ( wink 😉) Looks like a fun place, good size bar, several strategically placed TVs around the restaurant, for those who like to catch their favorite sports team in action! 😃👍

Our server, Wendy, handed us several colorful menus . . . convinced us of the freshness of a Greek style salad ! I was impressed with the beer selections ! I asked Wendy if the bar tender could fashion a “ black & tan” ? No problem!

After enjoying our Greek salad, Wendy asked if we liked to order an entree? We prefer a relaxed dining routine. . . sometimes when placing a salad & pizza order both items arrive at the same time! So we place our pizza order after finishing our salad. . . gives us time to talk politics & religion😳 , and our Grandkids ! 👍👍

Our pepperoni pizza , half with onions arrived 10 or 12 minutes later ! Pizza enthusiasts will immediately notice the style of pizza 🍕 to be a combination of style between a thin Neopolitan pizza & thicker crust pizza. I liked the fresh chewy dough, and extra cheese ! The sauce could use a bit more zesty seasonings , hey that’s just me. Overall a very good pizza , thank you! 🙏

“TL:DR - variety of SE Asian food on the menu with good service and okay atmosphere.Not bad, but not to the point where I want to go back to try the same menu. The restaurant has variety, so I would like to try more things. I have tried Pad Thai, but I guess it wasn't up to my standard. The taste was there though if you want to just turn of your craving. Tom Yum soup was good. The flavor was there. Penang curry was hard to tell how good it was because we ordered it Thai spicy, so majority of taste was from the spice rather than the curry. They are spicy indeed and I have normal Korean spice tolerance. Pad Kaprow was a good menu. Not to the point that I would get it again, but it was worth trying. My friend enjoyed the samosas that were in the vegetable platter. I personally did not find anything particularly outstanding yet. Service was good. Our server was a Liberty University student, and he was friendly. I thought the restaurant was a bit messy, and I think that is because they blocked a section of their restaurant with chairs as soon as you walk in with no sign to show why. Otherwise, the decor and setting up a wide space in the middle with tables close to the wall was a very good choice of the restaurant.

“My mom and I tried Milan for the first time. I absolutely love Indian food. I cook several dishes at home. However, my mom has never tried it.
The food was tasty. My favorites were the garlic naan bread, chili chicken, and the vegetables (peas, carrots, and potatoes.)
The service was excellent.
