Whenever I travel, I always visit this place because it’s my go-to spot to combat jetlag. They’re open at 5:30 a.m., which is perfect for me. This morning, a young lady made me an espresso. She kept making it until the quality improved. Her colleague then showed her and me how to adjust the grind ratio of the beans when it’s humid outside. As a result, she produced a perfect double shot of espresso. I truly appreciate that they didn’t let me leave with a bad product.
I love this place! I will say that I am not as big of a fan of the food as I am their coffee, but I love the atmosphere in here and everyone was friendly! Totally recommend this place over any big coffee places!
Unpretentious cafe in the area, they serve up decent coffee and pastry that I believe is made in house. The staff is wonderful and personable. They also seem generally friendly to the houseless which is always a good sign in my book. It’s an older spot so it’s a bit rundown and smaller but still a very chill vibe if you’re trying to lay low, read a book, or play a game of chess. Solid 4/5.
