“If you want a perfect homemade meal, this is the place to go. The food could not have been better. The beef ribs, which are only served on the weekend, are huge, juicy, and taste like a piece of heaven. Our friend, who had the brisket sandwich, was also pleased. All of the sides they tried were delicious.

The owners are so delightful you wish they were either your friends or family. These are really good people who deserve the support of the community not only for the great food, but to encourage young people to open business and stay in Fredericksburg. Their concern for their customers was really touching and showed that incredible Southern charm.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Just wish they had more tables and chairs. They need a bigger space. All I have to say is Nashville, beware!!!“

“This was my first visit to this ‘newer’ location. I say newer, because I saw when it opened, but just haven’t had the chance to stop in until a few days ago. The place is exactly like all the others I’ve been to between VA – PA. Service is great, friendly, professional, very helpful, and what they have made a business out of – just like all the other locations I’ve visited. The menu is the same as well. I tried their turkey and jalapeño sausage for my two meats, and their cheesy potatoes and beans as sides.

The turkey was moist and had a nice smokey flavor. It tasted great, in fact! It was so much better than the sausage I got. The sausage was cooked great, had a nice smoke, but was bland and tasted almost like a boring ham. It definitely needed a sauce on it, and the staff recommended their mustard sauce, which I thought was really nice. In fact, my favs on this visit were the KC, Mustard, and Nashville Hot Sauce.

I was there during the noon time period where the National Anthem plays and it was great to see all the patrons participate in the Anthem. Of course, the restaurant’s staff participated and that’s GREAT! Mission not only makes chain BBQ great, but they help to keep Making American Great Again too!!“

“Food is plentiful and delicious. Servers are really nice and bring the food to you quickly. If I could please make two suggestion: 1. Not sure how other customers feel, the heavy duty napkins are nice but we like the napkin dispenser on the table, that way we have the amount of napkins we need to keep our hands clean eating their nice big bar-b-cue sandwich?; 2. it also would help if you used a duplicate order pads (one copy at the cash register and one for the customer so the server can bring the check to the customer so they can see what they owe ahead of time and also makes the customer aware the servers shift might be ending ..r know the servers can see what they owe before they get to the register, it also would help the customer know the server’s shift is almost over. “Six of us were at the Northern Neck Beach Music Festival in Colonial Beach on 9/10/2022. All of us had your barbeque sandwich and agreed how tender the port was and it had the best taste with the seasoning used for the cooking and it was delicious with or without the barbeque sauce. Looking forward to eating at you place and hope you will vendor again at the Northern Kneck Beach Festival for 2023. Thank you for being there.“

“I just found out about Dickey’s when I moved to Va, I heard that this location had just opened back up recently and we figured we would try them out. This is the Second or Third time Ferber’s Tire and Auto had used them for our Friday lunch. The food is always on point, the young ladies do a great job of greeting you on the phone, taking your order and serving it up when you arrive. Food is always piping hot and full of juicy flavor. The love how you can choose between the different sauces depending upon your mood. James and his crew do an excellent job and we will sure be coming back for more BBQ. “Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ Food Truck was our food vendor for my dad’s retirement party at Barley Naked this past weekend and we could not recommend them enough! The overall service was excellent, from speed of getting orders out to customers and friendly attitudes of the staff. Food was DELICIOUS.
