“I used Smoke Shack to cater my husband’s 50th birthday celebration, and I am so glad I did! Everyone raved about the food.
Before my event, I stopped in to do a tasting, and the staff was extremely attentive. They allowed me to taste the different items and actually asked how I would like things seasoned or adjusted for my event. I really appreciated that level of attention and their willingness to make sure the food was prepared the way I wanted it.
We ordered fried chicken wings, grilled chicken, baked beans, green beans seasoned with smoked turkey, and macaroni and cheese. The fried chicken wings were full-sized, seasoned well, and a huge hit. The grilled chicken was also delicious, and the barbecue sauce complemented it perfectly.
Everyone LOVED the macaroni and cheese—it was well-seasoned, flavorful, and definitely one of the favorites. I had also read a few reviews saying the baked beans were bland, but that was nothing close to our experience. The baked beans were rich, flavorful, and seasoned very well.
During my tasting, I specifically requested that the green beans be seasoned with smoked turkey, and they did not disappoint. The green beans were a hit as well!
The trays were full of food, the portions were generous, and the catering was a huge success for my husband’s 50th birthday. Our guests continued to compliment the food throughout the event.
My only recommendation would be to make sure catering orders are ready at the scheduled pickup time. I scheduled my order for 2:30 p.m., and there was a slight wait when I arrived. Thankfully, the delay did not interfere with the start time of my event, and once we tasted the food, it was definitely worth the wait!
I’ll admit I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff was attentive, the food was delicious, and our guests were very happy. I will absolutely be using Smoke Shack again and highly recommend them for your catering needs!“

“Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

“Wow, wow, you need to eat at Ribs to Go on Indian Head Hwy, Md during morning, noon and evening. The food, oh my God, the food taste so delicious no matter what’s cooking. Unbelievable, the family knows their craft, wish I was able to cook just one item off the menu. The lady knows her way around a kitchen without a doubt and her husband can work that grill. You noticed I didn’t mention any type of food from the menu because everything that’s being prepared by Ribs To Go is so, so delicious. If you haven’t been to Ribs To Go, my suggestion to you is to check it out….Bring the entire family….“

“Tasted amazing. Hearty portions. Cool little spot in a shopping center with a lot of options. I had the Don-Bop and spicy pork sliders which both satisfied my hunger. This place also does bubble tea and other cool drinks if that's your thing. They have regular canned soda in a fridge among other to go drinks, and free water from a jug to pour in plastic cups. If you like Korean BBQ I would suggest giving this place a try. Also, the to-go containers are very sturdy and good quality.“

“I had the brisket, ribs, baked beans and cole slaw. The brisket practically melts and was so delicious. The ribs were great too. Tried several of the sauces. I like the mustard & the origins sauce best. Meal was big enough to ask for a doggie bag to finish it later on.“

“I took my parents to celebrate Farher’s day at this location. The waitress was helpful with ordering food that in our favor. The dishes we had were tasty—I recommend shrimps spicy chicken as appetizers, beef filet and ribeye our main courses were delicious.“
