“The malatang here is seriously one of the best I’ve had! The broth is rich, flavorful, and perfectly spicy, and all the ingredients taste super fresh. I especially loved how customizable everything is, you can pick exactly what you want and it always comes out delicious. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming!!!“

“A traditional mom and pop type of spot with the best cuts of meat any Korean BBQ place can offer alongside a secret sauce that goes well with all of them. I’ve realized that in order to reach a healthy, indestructible, integrated, and whole Jungian psyche, one must get everything out of their Freudian system per se, and no one enables that better than “Little Korea.” The discharge of unconscious psychic content through ‘free association’ among other things can get us to where we want to go in terms of a healthy and integrated psyche. It’s a process which ends with what is unconscious becoming conscious. Hence, the two halves of the ‘yin and yang’ which happen to be on the Korean flag and in turn symbolize the two halves of the psyche which in turn seek integration, namely, the conscious and unconscious halves of the psyche. The unconscious strives to become conscious. And we facilitate it through various techniques, one of which is to get everything out of one’s Freudian system per se. It is of course a tumultuous process, but one which assumes its course nonetheless. And no one enables that whole psychoanalytical process better than “Little Korea.” They have my stamp of approval and always will.“

“I started going to L&L last summer, and my father and I instantly fell in love with it. The Loco Moco and The BBQ mix are standout favorites to us. The staff there have always been friendly, especially with the challenges coming their way with the renovations at the moment. Would recommend.“

“Another decent Korean BBQ open late! Did the AYCE Option B for $39.99 per person—has a decent selection but was hoping Galbi was on the list but it wasn’t. Fatty Brisket was good and the Marinated Cube Short Rib was okay—short rib was tender but lacked the marinated sauce for my preference. Soy Bean Soup and House Salad were delicious—the Steamed Egg was tasty too but it threw me off that they added tons of carrot and scallions. Corn Cheese was okay.
Service was great—server were attentive and a few different ones came around to assist. They did a good job changing the grills too.“

“The beef brisket and the beef steak were easily the highlights of the meal. Both were high-quality, flavorful, and grilled up perfectly, so I would recommend focusing on those two cuts. The pork options were just okay.
The staff were attentive and friendly. They kept a close eye on the grill, changed the plates frequently, and made sure our sides were constantly replenished.
Overall, it’s a solid spot for a casual feast.“

“I came to Annakgol and truly enjoyed everything I ate —
the grilled mackerel, the rustic-style pork ribs, and the marinated galbi.
I also loved the dogani soup, the tofu and pork stew, and of course the spicy cold noodles.
These dishes keep coming back to my mind, and every time I eat here, my stomach feels warm and refreshed.
Life and work can be stressful, and for me, the best way to unwind is a good meal.
Annakgol is the kind of place where you can enjoy comforting Korean home-style meals, hearty soups and stews, and flavorful barbecue all in one spot.
What makes this place even more special is the atmosphere —
soft Korean music that our parents’ generation loves plays in the background, creating a cozy, nostalgic, and welcoming vibe.
It truly feels like stepping back into old Korean times.
If you’re looking for a comforting, authentic Korean restaurant in Annandale,
this is a place worth sharing and visiting together.“
