Southern Style whitefish with minimal breading is still my favorite as are the fried shrimp.

The Fredericksburg location senior days are Sunday/Wednesday. The dining areas are clean except for the water stained drop ceiling and dirty air vents. Place needs a renovation. Staff are attentive and bring condiments to your table with the order. The slaw, hush puppies, okra, green beans, and all the catfish/cod entree's are very good with the...

The store is nice and the staff is friendly. Anytime I am away from MD and in VA I always swing into a Captain D's and pick up some beer batter fish. I usually get 10 to 12 pieces, eat a piece or two in the car. I will take the rest home and put it in the air fryer to reheat and it tastes just as good and it was freshly made.

If you're looking for fresh seafood platters, try Captain D's. Captain D's has drive thru or sit down and enjoy the many different seafood platters. The food is fresh and the service is great. If you're in Fredericksburg VA, I recommend you stop by and have a bite to eat at Captain D's. We always take out lunch or Dinners to go (drive thru).
