Park Lane Tavern

Went to Parkside Tavern this evening after our movie and arrived at the restaurant at 9:25pm. 2 adults, a child and a toddler. We were barely greeted by a less than charismatic hostess. Instead of a welcome it was a ”We are understaffed so you can wait in this side area.” No offers of water or menus. Saw two tables leave and cleaned while we waited for service. No updates from hostess or management. We waited until 10:15pm and decided we had enough. I’ve been coming here for a long time. Our favorite waitress was Taylor. I’m a 25-30% tipper every time but after watching my family be treated like this, I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Ryan our server was an excellent touch for our dining experience. The food was delicious and the service superb! Request Ryan’s section!!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

The waiter Ryan was absolutely wonderful!!! He made our large experience great!!! Thank you Ryan! Oh and the food was DELICIOUS!

Outstanding food and service. Ryan was the best waiter. The fish and chips were exceptional and the gouda, bacon burger was the best char grilled burger I have had in years.

Everything is tasty and decent prices for the quality and variety. The food is always great, the staff are very nice and helpful. My favorite place to eat in fred.

Disappointed. Service was horrible. Food was disgusting. Sent it back. How do you even mess up spinach dip. For real. Just a pile of mozzarella melted with a few pieces of spinach, swimming in oil. Not my first time here, was disappointed before, gave it a second chance, no more. And the waitress was inpersonable, and never came back to even check on us.

Got the bourbon chicken with a side salad and mashed potatoes was very good recommend it would come back again

The food was very good, however we were a party of 6 squeezed into a very small booth and the place was very dark in lighting. The food was good and our waitress was wonderful, I'd definitely go back but with smaller groups.

Parking: The parking is a little funny because it's behind a mall, depending on the time of day you may get a spot close to the front doors, but be prepared to maybe walk a bit.

Kid-friendliness: I don't think this is a great place to take kids, it's very dark and the center of the restaurant is a giant bar.

We had the best time tonight our server her name was Kayden was absolutely fabulous. Everything she recommended we chose. My dining partner is a nut about fish and chips and he absolutely said this was the best fish and chips he ever had. We were here on Thursday and I have six dollar drafts anything on the menu and eight dollar pizzas. The spinach are short dip we had bluest away also, cozy atmosphere great service. Great prices great food! Everyone should come try Parklane Tavern in Fredericksburg town center!
