Under NEW management. The food was EXCELLENT! Kim and Kevin are the new OWNERS. I highly recommend this Jamaican restaurant… even if you’ve been some time before- GO BACK NOW & get THIS EXPERIENCE ! You will not be disappointed!
The food is amazing. We ordered so much we expected left overs but it was too good and we finished it there. The chef came out to greet us herself and make sure we were enjoying everything. The waiter was incredibly friendly and answered all our questions.
Tried Pimenta for the first time yesterday. Well, we tried to try it anyway. It was 79 degrees inside, there appeared to be a small group in the back but other than that we were the only people in the place. We’re told to view the menu and order/pay through the QR code. Fine. Then were told only beer and wine was available because the only employee besides the cook was 18. Again, fine. Place our orders only notice the light was suddenly off in the kitchen. Highly recommended dishes include the beef patty with coco bread, Rasta pasta with shrimp, jerk shrimp, oxtail, curry goat, and fish, all of which are well-prepared and flavorful. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the friendly staff ensures everyone feels included and comfortable. The curry is delish and the Guyanese roti is on point. The oxtail is a 10/10 and the fish and wings are totally on point. Now under new management, the spot has good food, great service and a lot of food. The ambiance and background music make it feel like home away from home. It is a nice location with plenty of seating and the people that run the place are very nice.
