Hidden gem serving up some amazing food, highly recommend.
It was amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly and suggested great food! My only gripe is that they couldn’t make it spicier.

Based on the reviews, Sabor de Mexico is a must-go restaurant in Fredericksburg with authentic Mexican food, not Tex-Mex. The wonderful atmosphere features friendly service and cleanliness. The food is excellent, delicious, and very well priced. The authentic flavour transports you straight to Mexico. Chips come out freshly fried with fantastic salsa, and the homemade tortillas are super soft. The menu offers a variety of tacos including Lengua, Cabeza, Tripa, Pastor, Asada, Carnitas, Birria, and Campechana. Specific meals mentioned include tacos al pastor, quesabirra tacos, chicken tacos, and carnitas. The beans and rice are phenomenal, and the guacamole is the best in Northern Virginia. The food is prepared timely and is hot and tasty. This is a hole in the wall but offers good Mexican food like you find in Southern California. Definitely check this place out if you are near Fredericksburg VA.
