First time here, and we loved it! Fredericksburg has several similar places that focus on the drink and so have a limited food menu and usually the pub food is not very good. This was by far the best pub food we’ve ever had. I had the street tacos and my husband had the burger and we both agreed they were ridiculously good! I haven’t had it but I hear the pizza isn’t the best but ok for kids. The outdoor courtyard is adorable! Lots of atmosphere, rustic tables with sun umbrellas, twinkling light, plants… It’s a surprise because it feels very different than the inside seating. I only gave 4 stars for the indoor atmosphere, which has a different vibe than the outdoor; less family friendly and more straight up bar feel. There were lots of people outside which we love, but there were still tables available so you could get in. Our server, Laura was amazing! She was chatty but not over the top. She seemed more like a friend than an employee! They were busy but she didn’t feel hurried and it genuinely felt like she was glad to spend time with us! We will definitely be back!

We recently rented out the whole Wild Hare Cider Pub for our wedding welcome party and it was a hit! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the cider was incredible, and it was really the perfect relaxed venue to host all our family and friends the night before our wedding. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Great place with a variety of cider options. Perfect for a hot summer day. Thomas served us and was very helpful.

This place is a hidden gem with a nice vibe. The food was good and reasonably priced. There was a plethora of Cider options, though I didn’t try any this time, my party raved about the taste. Weekday activities are offered which sounds great, I’m Excited to come for karaoke one night!

Even if you don’t normally care for cider, give this place a try. We are ardent craft beer drinkers, but really enjoyed this place. Bartenders were very knowledgeable about what we might like, and their choices were spot on. Their cider is terrific.

Great Dog Friendly place!

My first experience at Wild Hare was excellent. The food was wonderful and there were 8 different ciders on tap. Additional ciders were canned in the fridge for a “build your own 4-pack. I did not have a disappointing cider. Most were slightly dry (and properly labeled as such). The server, Laura, was fabulous. Very personable and helpful with the cider and food menu. The only reason I gave 4 stars for service was because they could have used an additional server. Even with that, I completely enjoyed the experience. Definitely the place to go when in Fredericksburg.

Parking: Being a downtown location, you will need to find street parking and might have to walk a couple of blocks.

This place has great customer service. For instance, I met a guy named Josh who is always cheerful and welcomes everyone who comes in! They have this DELICIOUS burger on the menu that I must have every time I visit because it taste so fresh.. The Ciders are amazing, so I have to get a flight every time because it's hard to choose just one. The atmosphere has a great vibe, and it's very clean???? I'm a local, so I try to visit whenever I can

This place was really cute! Really liked the vibe in there. I really appreciate that they’re dog friendly but since popping in there, I noticed the floor was really dirty and filled with crumbs. While I was sitting sipping on delicious cider, my dog kept trying to eat all of the crumbs off of the floors. I mean, how could she not, they were everywhere. Which brought me some anxiety knowing I had to make sure she wasn’t eating them. If you’re gonna be dog friendly at least please make sure your floors are clean to make sure any potential dogs coming in don’t digest something they’re not suppose to. Other than that, it was a great experience. Just a friendly tip. ?
