Popped into Wild Waylon’s for lunch today 6/27 on a recommendation from a few people. I ordered the Brisket sandwich, the Pimento Mac and cheese, and a Jalapeno popper. The staff was extremely nice, the place was clean and within 3 minutes the food was at our table. Right off the top I was impressed, big portions, several house made bbg sauces. The first bite of the sandwich sealed the deal, the mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had and I eat bbq...

Authentic REAL BBQ, or just side fixins that will hit all the taste buds this place has it. They delivered an experience 1st time visiting like no other making me and my family want to come back sooner than later. There loaded potatos are fully loaded with everything except the kitchen sink, smoked wings are actually smoked, and the jalapeno poppers and cornbread -- (MUST TRY) Family friendly environment...

The food was excellent! Portions were hefty, everything handmade. Owner was super personable and extremely kind, clearly eager for you to love their family dishes as much as he does. Absolutely take whatever suggestions he makes. No notes for improvement. We will absolutely be coming back!
