It's too dark in here & not enough room for an average person in the booths.
Food was awesome & Service was GREAT
My wife and I went the for an anniversary dinner. Got seated right away .
Ordered drinks and a appetizer.
Arrived pretty quick.
Dinner Arrived, she got our side's mixed up.
We didn't cause a fuss, just asked for another plate to swap out the sides.
She was a little busy.

Applebee's Grill + Bar in Galax provides a mixed dining experience. The blackened salmon and fries were okay, served in an outdated but clean setting. The restaurant was noted for its clean and pleasant atmosphere, although there were complaints about the bar area being dirty and tables not being bused. Service has been inconsistent; some guests experienced long waits with no server attention, while others highlighted exceptional service. The standout was the friendly, young server, although some disappointments included not honoring website specials and charging for unwanted items. Despite these issues, the overall experience has been described as pleasant, with wonderful food like the steak and oriental salad. The short wait time and evident new management may make it worth revisiting for a potentially improved dining experience, although accessibility could be a concern for elderly customers and those with wheelchairs.
