“RJ's have been a staple in Galax since I was a child. I was in on the Friday night before Christmas and it was packed. I was dining with my Aunt while I was in town and we didn't have to wait very long for a table. I order the steak stromboli and my Aunt ordered a sub. Her sub was brought out first but it had mayo on it and she sent it back. My stromboli came out and was perfect. Her sub returned just a few mins later and was on point then. I ate about half the stromboli and took the rest home for the next day. The decor is pretty basic, however it's clean and was remodeled several yrs ago after a fire. Overall if you want affordable and consistent food stop in at RJ's. It was loud inside but everyone was enjoying themselves and like any small town everyone was friendly and service was great.“

“County line is a local hot spot, the new owners are making major improvements and it’s paying off. Food is the home cooking style and it is pretty good, but I do stick to usual things vs trying anything new, but I just really like what I order. They stay very busy so service can be delayed, but they have consistent crew and they do a pretty good job at keeping service quick and friendly.“

“In my opinion it’s the best Chinese food in the area. The vegetables are large, crisp, and plentiful. The meat is flavorful, tender, and generous. The rice tastes amazing by itself—which is not always common in other locations. The egg rolls are AMAZING. Anytime we decide to go out to eat, Bamboo Garden is my choice. I’ve never in 15+ years had a bad experience there.“

“My husband & I wanted to enjoy our last Valentine’s Day together before welcoming our baby in a few days. We’d never eaten here before or heard of it so figured why not. The prices are amazing compared to a lot of similar places. You’re looking at roughly $10 per person. Food was tasty, I got the steak fajitas & my husband got the Luis Special. My only complaint is the service could be better. They did seem a bit busier than maybe they’re used to being so I’ll give some grace. My husband’s tea was not sweet and the waitress just brought back the same cup with sugar at the bottom of the glass. Lol. Other than that, everything was great & we had a good time. We’ll be returning for sure.“
