“A Must-Visit Spot — Fun, Flavor, and the Perfect Place to Watch a Game!

The Beach House in Virginia is such a fun place to hang out! The whole beach-bar theme makes you feel like you’re kicking back on vacation, even if you’re just stopping by after work. It’s also an awesome spot to watch a game — plenty of TVs, great energy, and a crowd that actually gets into it.

The food was fantastic. I ordered buffalo wings — all flats and extra crispy — and they absolutely delivered. Big, meaty wings (none of those tiny “where’s the rest of it?” wings you get at some places), cooked perfectly and loaded with flavor.

Cocktails? Not weak at all. They know what they’re doing behind the bar, and it shows.

And the service… easily some of the best I’ve had. Friendly, fast, and super welcoming — the kind of staff that makes you want to come back again.

“I have eaten here multiple times over the years. It is a good casual spot if you want to eat at the Hotel and not drive. On this occasion, I had a terrific BLT, steak fries, and a Stone IPA (I actually had three, but I walked back to my room). My waitress was really nice. I enjoyed my meal.“

“Hands down one of the best whiskey experiences so far. From the selection of whiskey to the knowledge of the bartenders Nick and Brian, this will be somewhere we keep coming back to. The food was delicious. We had the wings, cornbread, brisket and fries. The brisket can compete with bbq places that focus solely on bbq. The service of Nick and Brian show how passionately they care about whiskey and the experience of the customer. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and taste a huge selection of whiskey.“

“There’s rust on the buffets, the food was room temperature and the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. There is so much build up on the faucets and there is dried human waste smeared in the stalls. I left an entire plate of food sitting there because there was no way I was eating food prepared there after I saw the conditions presented to the public. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen looks like.“

“Fun local spot. We've been customers for 10 years. There are many options, with a robust breakfast menu, many sandwiches, burgers, and my wife enjoys the Milestone salad. Burgers are discounted on Tuesday and they always have a good crowd.

We like the high top tables in the bar for dinner. The bar staff really hustles to deliver drinks ( IPA choices for me) and food. One young lady (perhaps a bar manager) has been here for years and will not let you be overlooked.

I'm happy to see the Meatball appetizer (photo) return to the menu, and make a meal out of it with a side of fries. The meatloaf entree is outstanding.“

“We stopped for a late dinner and were delighted. The patio features garage doors which allowed us to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. We started off with artichoke dip, which was delicious. For mains we had the Monkey and a plain burger. The burgers were well seasoned and formed fresh on site. The artichoke dip had a significant amount of artichoke and was well balanced. We finished up with a brownie sundae.

The service was great and the food came out promptly in the right order. Everyone was very friendly and happy to see us.“

“Best bar and kitchen staff in the city. It is smoking but the bar is kept immaculate due to great management and staff. Security is friendly and welcoming. The bartenders Jenna, Stephanie, Savannah, Ed, Andi, and Ashley are the best in the business. “What a great Richmond sports bar. Their food is well above average. My favorites include the chicken quesadilla, the chicken nachos, and my absolute favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich with ranch instead of blue cheese. They have all of the tasty fried foods (mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli, jalapeño, poppers, tots, etc.). They always have a large selection on tap with experienced bartenders (Kate)!

The bad = parking. First the city takes away much of the street parking. And then they replace the large free parking lot with a crappy feng shui park.

“Only by chance, car issues, did I have a chance to visit this bar. I went in with my daughter, everyone there was laid back down to earth kinda people. Several asked if my daughter and I were ok, and while waiting for a tow, we had a few drinks, and some food....great food, delicious mixed drinks, and again the other customers and staff were kind and freaking amazing! Great place for a chill visit!“

The Monday night pool tournament is competitive, but the atmosphere is always friendly. Karaoke is on Thursday and Saturday, iirc.
