“I will never not be kinda weirded out by places like CookOut, but it's probably just me and my nerves. The place itself is fine, though I rarely eat inside for that reason. What they are super great for is for getting a quick and good fast food dinner when you work late. Many a midnight's shift-end would see me going through that drivethru, and it is very special and awesome for that. Dip the cajun fries in chocolate milkshake, trust me, you won't ever eat them any other way again, it's magical.“
“Friendly, welcoming atmosphere with great food. The North American Philly Sandwich, and the Tots with cheese blend. Wonderful mix of flavors! The health options of beverages and love the Stubborn fountain drink. We will definitely be visiting here again and will recommend it to our friends! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Visiting family brought me to this adorable place. It felt so welcoming the second I walked in. Everyone working there was super friendly, and the food? Absolutely perfect! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone - it's a solid 10/10 from me!“
“We live in the neighborhood and kept seeing Ellie's on the road and finally stopped by! Just WOW. We are now big fans. Incredibly delicious, high quality food with amazing service. Everything you want from classic American food icons. We'll absolutely be back!“
“I always feel like I'm going to my favorite Aunt and Uncle's cookout when we eat here! We love the baked potatoes, they're so filling and so many topping options. They even have a vegetarian/vegan Beyond burger for us herbivores. Don't miss the Italian ice for dessert. If you want quick bite with stellar service from folks that treat you like family (in a good way, lol) look no more!“
“One of the best hot dogs ? I can remember eating in recent memory! ? The onions ? are lightly grilled with green peppers and the chili is spot on ?! Fresh rolls and large, all-beef dog, cooked to perfection. Ray knows what he is doing, feeding the adventurous and street wanderers on 1st St and Marshall Ave for many years! Can't believe it took me so long to finally try this "Wonder of Scott's Addition"!! Will not take me long to return!?“
“Today we had the Coney dog, would have loved a little more chili, Also had a yummy corned beef and cabbage hot dog. We also tried Quad city burger. The burger seasoning was perfect, the bacon had a nice smoked flavor. All the hot dogs we've tried in the past have been great. We'll definitely go back.“
“The food was decent. We ate the chicken wings. The place was pretty busy, and only 1 person was working. She tried, but being the only server, bartender, busser, and food runner led to long wait times to order and get drinks. It wasn't a terrible experience.“
“Great cider. I was surprised to see Bryant’s has a location other than the one of Nelson 151. I was thrilled they created some semi-sweet options and beers. The bartender was wonderful. My only suggestion would be improve the signage - we were looking for them and almost missed it.“
“I just discovered this place. Love it. Excellent lunch spot, very clean, great decor. I had a loaded hot dog their way (chili, onions and cole slaw & mustard?) with crinkle cut fries. They also have BBQ and chicken salad sandwiches. I'll be back.“
“This was my first time trying Cookout and I enjoyed the food and the vibes. They have an extensive menu and 40+ milkshake flavors. The prices are also very reasonable. My only complaint is the service could have been better and when I came in there was an old couple that were complaining about their food and held up the line.“
“Visiting from the Seattle, WA area and could not miss a stop at Joey's. My son and I used to visit Joey's a couple of times a month when we lived in the Short Pump area. Best hot dogs north of Skin's hot dogs in Anderson, SC.“
