We went to Marker 20 to see Halfway Decent and support our friend's anniversary of being breast cancer free... it took 20-30 minutes to find a waitress and get a drink. (With no uniforms, it's difficult to figure out who works there.) Then a fight broke out and a female friend (very petite) was knocked into one of the steel chairs. Her husband went into protection mode and tried to break up the fight. The clueless bouncers, who should have seen the scuffle, kicked our friend out....read full review
I mainly come out here for live music and the weekly open mics. I don’t drink so I have no need to sit at the bar. However, I will say that the server with the black hair is one of the most unpleasant individuals I’ve ever encountered. She’s always working on Thursdays (open mic nights). You would think that I rejected her back in high school or something. I try to get along with everyone but sometimes some people really just suck. Other than that, I love the place.
Marker 20 is one of our favorite venues in the peninsula! It’s always a fun, rockshow! Any weekend, you’ll only find the absolute best bands in the area at this venue.
