I recently ordered a cake for my husband's retirement and was disappointed with how it turned out. I sent in pictures for the design, but instead of decorating the cake, they just printed the pictures and placed them on top. They also got my husband’s rank wrong, which was frustrating since that detail was important. The overall decoration didn’t look very professional or well done.

My girlfriends and I tried their dining experience yesterday and we were not disappointed at all. Our server, Cat, was amazing! We started with some drinks, which she made and OMG the Belle Isle, which has Lavender Moonshine in it, is now one of my favorite drinks! 🍹 We had the fried oysters and crab dip appetizers. Wonderful waitress and service!!!! BUT the food
And the atmosphere are GROSS!!!!! Haven’t been in several years and it has really changed. There was not a single other customer in there at prime lunch time. I understand why. Yuck!!!!

Based on the reviews, The Grey Goose | Kitchen and Catering is a hidden jewel in downtown Phoebus with a relaxing and open atmosphere. The food is very good, with meals like the shrimp Alfredo, baked salmon with a special mustard, pecan sauce topping, steak, crab cakes, flatbread, Catfish and Grits, and the Breakfast Bowl with turkey sausage. The crispy Brussel sprouts are addictively tasty, and the grits are sooo good with the cajon andouille sauce. Don’t leave without trying the “better than your boyfriend” fries! The service is excellent, with servers who are cheerful, fun, and quick to respond. The restaurant is also a perfect space for events like baby showers, bridal showers, and family get togethers, with a back room that worked well for a 50-person event. Pricing is very reasonable, and the overall experience is a wonderful dinner.
