My girlfriends and I tried their dining experience yesterday and we were not disappointed at all. Our server, Cat, was amazing! We started with some drinks, which she made and OMG the Belle Isle, which has Lavender Moonshine in it, is now one of my favorite drinks! 🍹 We had the fried oysters and crab dip appetizers. The rock star staff at Grey Goose catered our wedding reception at Hampton Roads Event Center in May 2024. From our first phone call with Dana to the many follow up emails and menu adjustments the process was easy and Dana’s crew delivered nothing less than excellence on our big day. The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was very good and our waitress Sadie was a gem! What a great experience. I’m sure they will see us again…soon. PS…Sadie, we’re the ladies that were talking about spring onions and white bread.

Based on the reviews, The Grey Goose | Kitchen and Catering is a hidden jewel in downtown Phoebus with a relaxing and open atmosphere. The food is very good, with meals like the shrimp Alfredo, baked salmon with a special mustard, pecan sauce topping, steak, crab cakes, flatbread, Catfish and Grits, and the Breakfast Bowl with turkey sausage. The crispy Brussel sprouts are addictively tasty, and the grits are sooo good with the cajon andouille sauce. Don’t leave without trying the “better than your boyfriend” fries! The service is excellent, with servers who are cheerful, fun, and quick to respond. The restaurant is also a perfect space for events like baby showers, bridal showers, and family get togethers, with a back room that worked well for a 50-person event. Pricing is very reasonable, and the overall experience is a wonderful dinner.
