Recent Reviews

While the presentation of the food was great, the taste was pretty average. The Babaganoush seemed to have a lot more yogurt in it than the eggplant. The tabouleh was pretty good (would recommend). The falafel wrap was alright. It had fries in it which could definitely be substituted for more greens/ cucumbers and tomatoes. There was also a piece of meat in my falafel wrap, which as a vegetarian was very disappointing.

Valentine's Day lunch at Pasha was excellent. We shared the mixed grill and the vegetarian plate. The meats were juicy and tender, and vegetarian plate made a great complement to the grilled meats. We especially appreciated the piping hot falafal. Hopefully the owners will work to improve the furnishings and decor in the restaurant and seclude the hookah bar completely from the restaurant area.

The food is very good, and everything is labeled as Halal meat. However, the restaurant does serve alcohol and has a bar, giving it more of a lively, party style (For JMU) atmosphere rather than a family oriented setting. If you’re looking for a fully Halal environment for religious reasons, that’s something to keep in mind. Prices are a bit high, but overall the food quality is good The service is very friendly!
