“We arrived in Mill Creek on our 45’ sailing catamaran (SV Moxie) because we wanted to experience the tasting room at Jayce Vineyards. I reached out to the vineyard via their website. Tommy replied and told what dock to use to get to the winery. He even met us at the dock and gave us a ride in the golf cart to the tasting room. Lucky us, they had a live band and open mic night. We met the owner, Dr Bob Jayce, and all the staff. All of which were very friendly and accommodating.

The wines are grown on the estate so they have the benefit of the terroir. We tasted three whites and three reds. Our fav was the Albariño, especially on this hot afternoon.

We also had the Margherita pizza which was on thin crisp crust. Perfect for a light snack while enjoying the atmosphere. We bought a couple bottles to enjoy later. When we were leaving, Bob drove us back to the dinghy dock.

In short, THIS IS A GEM NOT TO BE MISSED. Everyone there made us feel right at home. We will definitely be passing this spot onto all our sailing friends.”

It is by far the best crab salad I have ever tasted. Friendly service! I highly recommend I will be coming back to try the crab cakes next!”

“Dinner with friends last night.. first timers. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Friendly service, fast service, prices affordable! Our 4- top table ordered clam strips, onion petals, ribeyes, crab cakes and sautéed shrimp and the salad bar! Homemade croutons - YUM! “True hole in the wall bar and grill in a one stop light town. Creaky wood floors, peeling paint, knick knacks on the shelves, this place has character. Food is a home run... why? Because they take everything an extra step. Example: grilled chicken at every other joint- rubbery frozen chicken breast on boring bun, soft lettuce, mushy tomato. Here: grilled pulled chicken, virginia ham, cheese, spicy mustard/ mayo on a buttered grilled Texas toast... bang ... now that's a party in your mouth. Try the other sandwich concoctions... every one is a winner. Nice, honest folks that work here. You won't be disappointed. Instead of spending your hard earned lunch money at some chain restaurant joint... come spend it at a legit mom and pop establishment. Side note: they're so honest, the name is even legit.... it is actually on the Corner.”

“Our service was wonderful, with the sweetest waitress who was diligent in making sure we had everything to enjoy our meals. We arrived around 7:50 pm, yet the staff was still happy to serve us. We enjoyed the BEST wings (Old Bay & BBQ), the best calamari that also had fried peppers which was different and amazing! The seafood platter was fresh and yummy and the crab cakes with vegetable medley was to die for. Saving this cool spot for our last night of vacation will forever be memorable, but now that we know...we would've enjoyed these meals more than once during the week! Bonus...there's an art gallery, how cool?! definitely a must!!”
