Best place to eat Brazilian food
As a Brazilian I have to say that this place is pure magic and the best of treats to find in VA and the US! One of the things I miss most about Brazil is bakeries and their delicious and amazing pastries and treats!
Different than most Brazilian restaurants that will mostly serve dishes and plates with rice and beans, this location serves pastries (savory and sweet), cakes, breads, and some Brazilian grocery items. Everything that I have tried there has taken me back to Brazil...read full review
Absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and the people are always very friendly! Would highly recommend stopping in! They have a nice frozen section of various goods, as well as a small grocery section to get Brazilian ingredients and goods for your pantry.

Taste of Brazil is a family owned establishment with a welcoming atmosphere. It is both a bakery and a restaurant, offering a super cute buffet with daily choices for lunch, which is amazing. The pastry items and sweet pastries are to die for, including the chocolate chip sweet yeast bread and Brigadeiro. Savory options like chicken and beef croquettes are incredible. The service is kind and helpful. The entire establishment smells divine. It opens at 7am and gets busy, so arriving early is recommended. It is a local place worth a try for a taste of the culture.
