This was my first time in Virginia and I saw so many waffle houses during our drive so I had to check it out! I ordered hash browns, chocolate waffles, and coffee and the total was only $10.00. For the price you pay, the food was amazing. The inside looked like a diner and the staff was very accommodating to our large group. I want to go back!!
I had a lot to take up care of today and had a late breakfast between errands. I was so disgusted with DMV that I needed some time to quiet my spirit. I got the $11 special substituted hash browns smothered for the grits. I guess they have to keep the grits hot and ready but to see the man in the bucket of water to the Grits is kind of a taste killer. And it changes the consistency of the Grits that were made earlier. This Waffle House isthe absolute best location on Williamsburg Road. The manager is excellent and ensures service. They have a great team. They have the best eggs with cheese. Love the taste of their sausage.
