Food was ok, but small portions for the price. Service was not good. Not clean

Despite having a late night menu and stating they are open until 12am we walked in on a Wednesday at 9:40pm and were told the kitchen closes at 10pm and they could not serve us. It was 2 of us.
We’ve been here before with large parties and service has been great. The food is ok.

Food was good, was a pretty loud environment. Service was terrible. Waitress took our drink order and appetizer. Came back with drinks and took food order. We didn't see her again until we had a different waitress track her down for our check. No refills, didnt check if food was correct (it wasn't because she didn't fully hear our son's order). Probably was an off night, and all of the other waitstaff seemed to keep up with their tables.

Food here is just okay. I’d go back but I would classify this as an average sports bar.

I had an excellent experience at Wood & Iron! The dishes are expertly prepared, especially the chicken portions, which are simply wonderful flavorful, generous, and always cooked to perfection.
Beyond the high-quality food, the service made all the difference. Tommy, the restaurant manager, provides exceptional service; he is always attentive, professional, and dedicated to ensuring we have the best possible experience.
Without a doubt, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, generous portions, and impeccable service!

The manager was extremely attentive, professional, and always available to ensure everything was perfect. You can really see the care shown to customers and the team's commitment. I will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!

Mortified, absolutely mortified. I have patronized this particular location on several different occasions and have never ever experienced something like this before, not here and not in any other restaurant. Our waitress was such a gem, and our food was (WHAT WE THOUGHT) up to par. My sister and I ordered a plethora of food: wings, nachos, blue cheese candid pecan salad, and the infamous Cobb salad which is in question. When the salads arrived, her salad (the Cobb salad) came double plated and mine did not, which was a bit weird but neither of us thought much more about it. She only ate a few bites of her salad after enjoying her nachos and some of the wings. So at that point she was ready to box up her salad when she took the plate with the salad OFF of the plate that was under it. Where she was met with a strange wet substance that got all over her hands from the bottom of her salad plate ONLY TO SEE THE PLATE THAT IT WAS UNDER HAD A USED GLOVE AND OTHER WET SUBSTANCES ON IT, in which she immediately became increasingly disgusted and instantly began to dry-heave (rightfully so). She went to wash her hands and I immediately called for a manager, in which it took approximately 15min for him to finally come over (we were 2 of the only 10 patrons in the restaurant at this time). For him to say these exact words: “Wow what a weird thing this is, very strange, I’ll take it off your check.” Then he proceeded to take the plate in question and walk off. It was the end of our time there, and he was so matter of fact about it, we did not want to cause any type of scene so we paid the check (tip included) and left.
But PLEASE KNOW that this has to go against every health department rule possible and is COMPLETELY UNSANITARY, and I pray that neither of us get sick. Truly I am not sure how to feel at this moment but I pray that this does NOT happen to any other patrons. I really also hope they do some internal training, management included!

I had a disappointing experience here recently. When my salad was brought to the table, the hostess accidentally spilled an entire ramekin of dressing onto my pants. As you can imagine, it left a large stain and made the rest of my meal uncomfortable.

The hostess apologized and brought extra napkins, and a manager later came over and offered to pay for dry cleaning, which I appreciated. However, I was surprised that no effort was made to further remedy the situation, such as comping part of the meal, offering a replacement item, or otherwise acknowledging the inconvenience beyond the dry-cleaning offer.

I understand accidents happen, and I’m not upset about the mistake itself. What disappointed me was how the situation was handled afterward. Customer service is often judged by how businesses respond when something goes wrong, and in this case I left feeling undervalued as a customer.

Follow up- after washing the clothing at home the stains didn’t come out. Went back up there the next day to talk to the manager…. The manager took my clothes to get them dry cleaned and the stains are out.

Why have an after hours menu and stay open late if you are going to only offer wings and fries… yet there is a FULL after hours menu. Oh wait, I know! Servers are lazy. They also like to hand you your cups from the top! Unsanitary!! Get better- a fellow server

My party (2 people) and I walked in at 10:08 pm and waited 10 minutes while the waitress had to “check” to see if we could sit outside when there were (3) parties already there. We were told we could only sit in the bar area. Then once we found a table that was less than 3ft from the bar, another waitress came to my table and told us we could not sit at the table and had to sit at the actual bar. We were the only African Americans in the establishment. I will never com to this establishment again. However, I did tip the bartender handsomely for his assistance as it was obvious he was being bullied by the much older in appearance of staff. Such a disappointment and poor service. Unacceptable

EDIT: it looks like they heard the complaints about this and they now make it more clear when happy hour is cancelled. In general we’ve always loved coming here.

They advertise happy hour but they also silently cancel it, and instead just send you a check at double the amount you were expecting. Terrible way to treat customers who were regulars at happy hour.

Went in with my family on vacation. Our server was fabulous. We did have an issue with Kayla the bartender she was tremendously rude to us as paying customers. She was not attentive at all, wouldn’t even ask our drink order. Had major attitude issues from the beginning when asking for a simple service. Was very argumentative with patrons and honestly made the experience horrible. I do not recommend her serving you at all, and if I could give zero stars for her personally I would. Although food was good her service was the worst I’ve experienced and I truly hope her manager sees this and does something about it. As leaving a review is the best I can do otherwise I’d definitely have more choice words for her. If she doesn’t like her job or serving patrons she should not be in the food service industry.
