My mom and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and had scones and tea. Everything was pretty good, but we were disappointed that they were out of lots of teas - including all of the authentic Japanese teas. The lady who appeared to be the manager on duty seemed to be training a couple new employees. The new employees were very nice but made a few small mistakes that weren't that big of a deal. The tea here is truly amazing, and the staff are wonderful—it's just a bit of a challenge to actually get through the door. Out of three attempts, I’ve only been able to make a purchase once because the shop frequently closes for private events on the weekends. Unfortunately, the AI assistant, Reah, doesn't mention these closures, so it’s easy to make a trip for nothing. Elden Street Tea Shop is a LOVELY little place with so many different and unique selections of tea! The scones were warm and baked fresh, the tea was perfectly brewed and the staff were so friendly and answered all our questions! We loved our experience here and we can’t wait to come back!
