Had two bikes tuned up here, and they did an exceptional job. Both bikes ride smoothly and look nearly brand new despite both of them being several years old. The staff is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. I gave 4 starts because I noticed after leaving and reviewing the receipt that they replaced the handlebar wrapping on one of the bikes that I hadn't asked them to change and charged me for the wrapping. Not a huge upcharge, it just felt weird and a bit inconsiderate...
This has become the best bike shop in NoVa, no question. Huge selection from entry-level to high-end, plus coffee, snacks, and beer — it's a genuine local hangout. Above all, though, it's the people. The techs are top notch and pulled out all the stops for me in a pinch: while packing for a bike trip, I noticed my hydraulic brake lines were pinched and needed replacement.
