Had two bikes tuned up here, and they did an exceptional job. Both bikes ride smoothly and look nearly brand new despite both of them being several years old. The staff is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. I gave 4 starts because I noticed after leaving and reviewing the receipt that they replaced the handlebar wrapping on one of the bikes that I hadn't asked them to change and charged me for the wrapping. Not a huge upcharge, it just felt weird and a bit inconsiderate...
This has become the best bike shop in NoVa, no question. Huge selection from entry-level to high-end, plus coffee, snacks, and beer — it's a genuine local hangout. Above all, though, it's the people. The techs are top notch and pulled out all the stops for me in a pinch: while packing for a bike trip, I noticed my hydraulic brake lines were pinched and needed replacement. It's a big job, but knowing my situation, they dropped what they were doing and got...
Absolutely worthy of 5-stars or more. I drove up to Herndon on my way to a bike race in Pa. to have a repair made to my Scott Foil that my LBS said I just had to live with. 10 minutes later my situation was resolved and a couple other adjustments made. Definitely worth the drive if you’re close. I had no appointment and they didn’t hesitate to put customer service first.
