The best sandwhich in Northern VA, maybe even in the whole state. Every time I get something all the ingredients are super fresh and delicious. The bread is unmatched. My only compliant is that I can’t eat here everyday because that would be bad for my heart and wallet but believe me, I would if I could.

A late lunch, and my first choice for an Italian sub was temporarily closed."Back in 20 minutes!" (Good for you; not so good for me.)On a lark and given it was close & open, I chose Twisted Sweets & Savory. From the name, I never would have predicted sandwiches on the menu.I ordered the Hungarian, figuring it's the heritage sandwich. To feed my craving, I bought an Italian too to feed my craving. The pluses: Very fresh food, served fast. The peppers & cucumbers tasted great & were delightfully crunchy. The minuses: The bread is, well, different. It's a bread tube. While the concept is fun, the taste wasn't much. Cheese (think Asiago bagel in appearance), Jalapeño, and ET. Bread makes the sandwich, and the tube is more of a novelty. The possibilities: There are a bunch of savory choices, tempting enough to make another visit to try them all and their fillings. There are two front doors about 15 feet apart. Maybe post a sign with an arrow directing guests to the main entrance?I wish the owners good luck. Opening and operating a restaurant, especially a little bit off the beaten path, is tough. My first visit to the Italian Store in Lyons Village, the Lost Dog in Westover, and Chase the Submarine made me "hungry" to come back.Twisted Sweets & Savory is almost there.

Best sandwiches in Nova hands down. If you’re dropping by jimmy John’s, jersey mikes, firehouse, or subway and haven’t tried this place out you’re completely missing out.

Nice place with a very unique product, we've only ever seen chimney cakes once before in NYC. Food was delicious, we got dinner, dessert, and brought a few home too

I ordered a box of Twisted Sweets & Savory's including the pistachio Sweet Chimney to the office and they were a huge hit! They're the perfect treat, and this place is a great spot for a bike stop for those riding along the W&OD Trail.

A little taste of Europe! I love it. The only thing I would change is to serve fresh out of the fryer just like the street food vendors in Europe. Regardless, it still delicious and I’ll be buying more!

I recently had the pleasure of eating at Twisted Sweets & Savory in Herndon and I must say their name was ALL THAT and just an absolute delight! The cinnamon chimney with both vanilla?and chocolate? ice cream ? flavors were incredibly delicious, boasting the perfect balance of sweetness and creamy texture with the perfect flaky crust with cinnamon and sugar ?But the true star of the show was the Italian sandwich. It was hands down one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had in my life! The crunch of the fresh veggies paired with the savory meats and just the right amount of bread made for a not watering experience that I won't soon forget. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the service was quick and top notch. The owners are very friendly and pleasant and you can tell they put their heart ❤️ into this place. I think there should be one of these in every town & state hands down. If the rest of the world only knew what this tastes like and how good this place was... An absolute Gem ? this place is, I'm not exaggerating. I am looking forward to their future and really hope to see them expand ?

I wish I could give this 3 1/2 stars because 3 is a little low, but overall I don't think I will go back. The food was fine, the spiral croissant style bread is a novelty, but isn't good enough on its own or in Sandwich form to warrant going out of your way to stop by. It's basically just a cold cut sandwich in a giant hot dog bun like croissant. Some of desert versions were pretty good and might be worth going back for if I happen to be in the area, but the ice cream really messes with the texture of the bread and makes it tough and hard to eat. Only the warm dulce or Nutella were above average pastry offerings for this area. For the price and the overall restaurant experience, it was really just overall, "average".

Such a cool spot! This was my first time trying a Hungarian chimney cake but I was incredibly impressed. I don’t like super sweet desserts and the Oreo cannoli one was the perfect level of sweetness. The cream was also much better than most I’ve had in actual cannoli’s. The bread itself is very soft and fun to pull apart. I also got a half size vanilla sugar one filled with ice cream which was very tasty. The sugar is melted like a creme brûlée’s top. Definitely will be back to try more!

Just found out about these folks and the food and service is just excellent. We went and had the savory ham and cheese and the Italian on cheesy jalapeño bread. Both were great sandwiches wrapped in twisted style bread. We also got an Oreo twist stuffed with cannoli so good. We plan on going back to get the stuffed sweets with ice cream

Twisted Sweets is amazing in all aspects of the word! Their desserts are what hooked people (all of the sweet chimneys with fillings or ice cream are delicious!) and the sandwiches are so crisp and fresh on the unique bread option that sets them apart from all other sub shops!! Everything bagel cheddar chimney filled with meat and veggies and their tasty paprika mayo always hit the spot! And now they have daily soups (that are all to die for!) and have expanded to next door as well for extra seating space! Ownership is so friendly and attentive, and service is always the best! Twisted Sweets is a Home Run, every time!

The owner is incredibly gracious. Service was prompt amd friendly and thee food was absolutely delicious. We started with a bowl of chicken with poblano pepper soup. The flavors were subtle and we finished evey drop. Then we had the Hungarian on cheese jalapeño and the roast beef on cheese. The flavored mayo, extra fresh vegetables and over all combination of flavors were wonderful. The only regret was being too full to try any of the sweet chimneys. We will definitely be going back.
