This place is amazing. Stumbled upon it while looking for smaller more dinery restaurants. Kay does a fantastic job of waiting all the tables by herself and always keeps your coffee filled. The food is cheap and it is plentiful. I have yet to have something I do not enjoy. The interior is awesome, with hundreds of pictures of satisfied customers like myself on the walls. I need to try to the herring. Also it opens at 7am for people like me that might want to get a bite before...
My first time eating in, I previously ordered over the phone and picked up. The server was great, very accommodating and she worked every table by herself as well as the register and the phone. She gets a 10/10 herself. The food was great, I got a pancake slam and my bf got a jumbo slam. There was a weird feel with some of the other patrons, which were older, but I don't let other people bother me. I would definitely eat in again and take my food to go as well.
Great small restaurant. Loved their local specials. You don’t often find chipped beef on toast or salted herring on a breakfast menu. Our entire party was pleased with the food and the service.
