A wonderful winery to visit and enjoy the view. They have a great selection of wines and beer(gluten reduced). It is one of my favorites in the area.

The wines are decent. Having the option for a tasting over a flight would be preferable, but they do offer several wine flight styles, so that’s nice.The low star score is based on inferior customer service. If you keep a tab open, they’ll take your credit card. Not an unusual practice. But what is unusual is that the manager (!) gave my mother’s card to another woman. The card was used to settle their tab, and she walked out with it. Neither the customer or manager bothered to read the name on the card! When my mother and I came to check out, the mistake was discovered. The manager promised to fix it, and to make it right. Guess what? It never was. It didn’t ruin our trip, but it certainly didn’t improve it. So, quite careless with credit cards - choose another winery!

Wine was a four on the red wine selections. Food, we were told there was nothing available until Wednesday as they had run out of on Sunday.Great view but based on the service we will not go back.

Nice staff. We did a gold red wine flight, wines were mild and drinking type. Nothing overly complex in 3 we tried. Beautiful view of vines and hills. Outside patio was gorgeous, indoor was typical. Fun had beers and wines . View made it worth the trip

I have visited Hillsborough Vineyards and Brewery several times in the past year. Never have had a bad experience! The wine is fabulous, the flatbreads are really good too. The view and ambiance is spectacular! The patio area is amazing, with plenty of seating and shade. The service is great, staff are very personable and friendly. I have brought several friends to the winery, and they love it!
