We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro. Honestly you don't even need to go outside (except under an overhang) to catch the train. We were recognized at the front desk as diamond members, and given a room on an Executive Floor. Wonderful larger than usual room. One limitation was that we hoped to ask our housekeeper for extra decaf coffee in the room, but she did not speak English. She gave us herbal teas instead. Perfect location! The metro was right outside the door and it was within walking distance to so many great restaurants. All of the staff was amazing!! So helpful with any questions we had about getting around and quick response anytime we needed anything for the room. Only drawback was the full size bed, wish they were queen.
My wife and I visited the Hilton Arlington for 1 evening in late June. The hotel was very clean, there was ample parking, the room was quiet and the overall stay was great. The local area has lots of good bars and restaurants to choose from. On our visit, we took the metro which was right out the door to visit other areas of DC.
