“We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro. Honestly you don't even need to go outside (except under an overhang) to catch the train. We were recognized at the front desk as diamond members, and given a room on an Executive Floor. Wonderful larger than usual room. One limitation was that we hoped to ask our housekeeper for extra decaf coffee in the room, but she did not speak English. She gave us herbal teas instead. We didn't feel strongly enough to pursue it. However, her housekeeping in our room was impeckable. Fresh towels every day! The executive lounge was a welcome respit as usual. I've seen reviews that state that the food was a bit repetitious and boring and sometimes lukewarm. That was true. Yet it was always substantial and we were so thankful for it. It took me a couple days to figure out the expresso machine, but that too we did not ask about. Evening hors d'ouvres were nice to have. We parked on the property and there were no issues. We felt welcome and that they were there to serve us everywhere we went in the hotel. Thank you.”

“We ate here for the first time, I was excited to hear about Gluten-free options and the server was VERY knowledgeable. Being celiac it's hard enough to find places to eat with your family.I was excited because i had read so many reviews about the gluten-free choices. However I got sick from cross contamination, everyone else's food was amazing! My daughter got the burger with Mac n cheese on it she ABSOLUTELY loved it. So for anyone who's not celiac I highly recommend!!!! In my daughters words food was bussin!!!!!!”

“This coffee shop is way out of my way, but the gluten-free goodies they kept posting finally convinced me to make the drive. And let me just say… WORTH IT. I got the raspberry white chocolate muffin and it was so good I had a full “wait… is this actually gluten-free?” moment. Happy to report: no tummy ache, just pure muffin bliss. 🙌 The owner was incredibly sweet, the atmosphere was cozy, and yes — I grabbed a second muffin for tomorrow’s breakfast. Zero regrets. I’ll absolutely be back!”

“We had such a fantastic experience at Southern Craft! The service was amazing—friendly, attentive, and quick. Everything came out fast and fresh, and every bite was delicious. We tried the fried green tomatoes, pulled pork nachos, smoked turkey, and okra, and all of it was excellent. They also have great options on the kids’ menu, which made it perfect for the whole family. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming—we even ran into several people we knew, which made it feel even more like a hometown favorite. The bar vibe is great, and the location is amazing. From start to finish, it was an all-around wonderful dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“This particular Pal's has always been my favorite drive-through. Lately the quality of the food has gone way down. It seems to have gotten consistently worse since Pal passed. The hot dogs aren't worth eating anymore. Today I got a Jr. Burger that was way too salty and so messy I could hardly eat it. The sweet tea isn't even up to par. I don't know if I'll be back to this one or not.”
