“We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro. Honestly you don't even need to go outside (except under an overhang) to catch the train. We were recognized at the front desk as diamond members, and given a room on an Executive Floor. Wonderful larger than usual room. One limitation was that we hoped to ask our housekeeper for extra decaf coffee in the room, but she did not speak English. She gave us herbal teas instead. We didn't feel strongly enough to pursue it. However, her housekeeping in our room was impeckable. Fresh towels every day! The executive lounge was a welcome respit as usual. I've seen reviews that state that the food was a bit repetitious and boring and sometimes lukewarm. That was true. Yet it was always substantial and we were so thankful for it. It took me a couple days to figure out the expresso machine, but that too we did not ask about. Evening hors d'ouvres were nice to have. We parked on the property and there were no issues. We felt welcome and that they were there to serve us everywhere we went in the hotel. Thank you.”

“I cannot say enough about the staff here. We make this a weekly stop. The meat comes without sauce and you get your own choice of sauces on the table to put on your meat. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are plenty. most importantly, the quality is always high and it's consistently good.”

“My family tried this spot for the first time and no one was disappointed. Even my picky little boy. Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was super friendly! Cozy atmosphere. We got the pork dumplings, crab Rangoon, wonton soup, shrimp lo mein no veggies, and the Maryland soft shell crab (pictured below). We will definitely be dinning here again! Highly recommend!”

“I adore this cute little café! Incredible caliber house-made goodies. All of their bakery items looked so tasty and their house-made Lavender sage syrup was on point! (Not too sweet, not overwhelming of the coffee). The service was excellent. The atmosphere just delightful. I loved having my coffee in an art gallery. Just delightful all around. “Pal's never disappoints :) There's no drive-thru at this location so you need to go inside and order. They have a few tables outside you can eat at. I get the grilled cheese with extra pickle, fries, and a razzy Dr. enuf!”

“It was great stopping by the original pals and the service was sudden and friendly as well as it just being the best fast food hands down. Ive ate at many pals drive throughs and its all been great sudden service with the best fast food and the original pals walking in was just remarkable. I have to mention the staff was very professional and very hard workers with an employee outside sweeping the area and taking care of things outside as well as carrying out business professionally on the inside.”

Casual and located in a small strip mall, the staff was so accommodating and again, the food was crazy good. I had the summer rolls and green curry with chicken. I would recommend and will go back the next time I am there. Bring your own beer if you want that as they don't have it.”

“Stumbled upon this restaurant while leaving bay’s mountain. We got the authentic burrito with chicken steak and shrimp, authentic enchiladas, trio taco, steak tacos and even 5 year old was happy with pizza. No more having to drive to Asheville for California Mexican. Husband said this is the best Mexican since leaving California. Carlos also made this experience that much better!!”

“If you like a good salad, do yourself a favor and check out their smokehouse chicken salad. It comes with craisins, almond slivers, and fantastic mixed greens. Not that flavorless iceberg lettuce so many places give you. The chicken is also full of smoky flavor.It's my go-to every time I eat there! Definitely one of the best salads you're gonna get in Kingsport!”
