Such a great concept! We rented a cottage for the night and really enjoyed the entire experience. The cottages are thoughtfully designed - simple yet comfortable, with everything you need for a few nights away. The outdoor common areas are an awesome addition. We used a fire pit to gather around with snacks and roast oysters. ReFuel's location right in Irvington, near the water and within walking distance to cool spots like Daily Magic, Blue Honey, Vine, The Local and Livi's...
I haven't been able to eat in the Cafe as of yet since it's only open Thursday- Sunday 5 PM - 9 PM.The hotel consists of six tiny homes in a cluster, surounded by common space. The come space has both an outdoor area with a small fire pit and several tables and chair's. As well a covered indoor space with tables, a large screen TV and a nice shuffle board. The tiny homes make for a wonderful environment to spend a few days or even weeks.
Interesting experience. We went on a Sunday for $1 oysters (sadly to learn they were roasted, not raw). The place was totally in the weeds. Forgot our order and we got half of our dozen oysters before they were 86'd. Hopefully just growing pains, the place was packed. BTW the bottle of Rose was excellent for $22.
