My husband and I came to The Tides Inn on a little anniversary staycation. The ambiance of The Tides Inn is just lovely. Salt and Meadow is a beautiful restaurant with lots of windows overlooking Carter's Creek and the marina. The view of the sunset is just outstanding. The waitstaff was attentive, but we never felt rushed. The food was outstanding, and everything was cooked perfectly!
We had the Halibut (catch of the day) and Filet. Both were perfectly executed. So was the caviar deviled eggs. Gorgeous restaurant, friendly staff. Bartender was swamped and overwhelmed when we first arrived, we got there early so we went to the bar. Waited for 15 minutes and couldn't get a drink (or even order) so we just got seated at our table instead. Overall, very great experience.
View is amazing. Food is good and menu has a nice variety. Of note, the eggs were brought to the table cold and were returned. Staff could be more attentive. For example, no spoons were brought out with the sorbet so we ate it with forks. We were a party of two and were seated at a 5 top which is fine but the other place settings were not cleared and sat on table throughout the meal.
