Great wines! The downstairs bar (indoors) and patio are dog friendly. Highly recommend visiting SMV! Tara is the best.
The winery came at the recommendation of our B&B host. It is quite new and will be a lovely property for weddings and events. The wine was delicate and had some depth for being a newer vineyard. We enjoyed our time here very much.
Great winery. Only complaint is on the food side. Ordered a salad with “grilled chicken” which wasn’t inexpensive. What arrived was a couple small chunks of white meat grilled chicken in the middle of the salad …and that is being generous….with a large pile of shredded meat on the side that looked pink like ham. Guests consistently praise the 5-star service, with staff like Tyler and Oliver being incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. They strike a perfect balance of professionalism and genuine hospitality, valuing building real relationships with visitors and wine club members. The establishment is loved for its delicious wine and amazing food, with many highlighting their positive dining experiences. Specific dishes like the margarita flatbread and turkey on croissant have been called delicious. While some found certain food items to be flavorless, the overall consensus points to a positive dining experience. The grounds are gorgeous and the building is beautiful, offering spacious seating inside and out. Even without mountainous views, the scenery is pretty good, and the comfortable sofas on the front deck are a highlight.
